Okay so if you make Cheese, you need four glasses of milk.

One glass of milk costs six energy (milking the goat).

You have to spend 24 energy on the milk, wait five hours to get the cheese, and you only get one energy for it? LOL. No.

Even making the apple pie is stupid. I mean, you can just spend 5 energy talking to Peeta at the bakery and get the xp there rather than spend 6+ energy looking for honey, 48 energy on milks (plus 10 hours of waiting), and 12 energy on bread dough, not even counting all the other hours waiting on it.
